6. Assignments and submission
6.1. Turnitin
Turnitin is the plagiarism detection system used at SAMK. It is integrated with both Wihi, where submissions are checked automatically at the end of the process, and Moodle, where it is available in the following activity types: Assignment, Quiz, Workshop, and Forum.
In Moodle, every user must accept the Turnitin End User License Agreement (EULA) the first time they use the service and whenever the terms are updated. If a student does not click I accept the Turnitin EULA or declines the agreement, their submission will not be sent from Moodle to Turnitin for similarity checking.

Once you have accepted the latest version of the Turnitin EULA, the buttons will no longer be displayed. Instead, you will see the message: "You have already accepted the latest Turnitin EULA."
